Who Am I
Hi, I'm Dr. Xiaoke Fei — a math and physics tutor based in New York City. I hold a PhD in Applied Mathematics and have 6 years of teaching experience. I teach one-on-one online, in English or Mandarin.
During my master's and doctoral studies, I taught calculus to undergraduates as an instructor, and served as a teaching assistant for probability and statistics courses. Today, I focus on high school students preparing for AP Calculus, AP Precalculus, AP Physics, and AP Statistics — working with students across the US, China (Mainland and Hong Kong), and Japan.
My teaching focuses on building a strong foundation — making sure each concept is clearly understood, then guiding students step by step through carefully selected problems. I also emphasize structured note-taking, so students can truly internalize what they learn.
When I'm not teaching, you'll find me playing guitar.
