"Dr. Fei is a really amazing tutor. I have learned so much from him studying BC Calculus. He is really great at explaining hard concepts by teaching through steps and making them easier to understand. He also can always use simpler terms to help me understand the reasoning behind different methods instead of giving pure equations to memorize. Dr. Fei also always prepares for class beforehand by asking for my worksheets or any problems I have so our classes are always clear and efficient. I really appreciate how flexible and understanding Dr. Fei is. Even outside of our class time, Dr. Fei always answers any questions I have and will even have a quick call with me last minute when I have a test the night before. I really recommend Dr. Fei as a tutor!"
"We are immensely grateful to Dr. Fei. My child is a 10th grader. In May last year, we found Dr. Fei through Xiaohongshu. Starting that summer, before ever learning Algebra 2 at school, Dr. Fei taught it in advance. As a result, my child has excelled effortlessly in school. While learning Algebra 2 at school, Dr. Fei simultaneously taught Pre-Calculus, so now my child is at the Pre-Calculus level and confidently preparing for the AP exam. Dr. Fei also taught Physics 1 ahead of time, since the school did not offer it, laying a solid foundation for next year's Physics C. Next year, we will continue learning AP Calculus BC, Physics C, and also plan to study CSA and Statistics with him. Dr. Fei is highly professional, efficient, and we trust him deeply."

What I really like about his teaching style is that he explains each concept clearly and then shows an example, which makes it easy to immediately apply what you just learned to real problems. He is also very patient with me, even when I'm a little slower to understand certain concepts. Furthermore, Dr. Fei teaches with a lot of care and thought, and he's very responsible because he always asks students ahead of time what they want to work on just so that he can prepare for the lesson ahead of time. Moreover, Dr. Fei carefully adapts his lessons to meet the expectations and needs of students and even works with parents to align expectations and goals. While focusing on each students' unique needs, Dr. Fei pays close attention to how students learn and adjusts his pace and style accordingly. Not only does he want his students to succeed and score well on their AP tests, he also wants his students to understand math on a deeper level. "Thanks to Dr. Fei, I scored a 5 on the AP Calculus BC exam. His teaching is excellent. He clearly knows his students' weaknesses and how to address them. His lessons are flexible and can be adjusted to suit each student's needs. The problem-solving methods he teaches are practical and effective. What's more, both his English and mandarin is pretty good as well, which makes the lessons easy to follow. I highly recommend his math tutoring for any AP student."
"Dr. Fei is the nicest and sweetest tutor I've ever had. Sometimes he's really funny, but don't let that fool you. He's very focused on your success & understanding towards what you're learning and he's very professional. He's a very interesting person & he plays the guitar!! I didn't like math very much when I learnt Algebra 2, but when I started to have Dr. Fei as my tutor, I feel like math became more enjoyable to me and I looked forward to it more than I had before. He's very kind towards his students & very flexible with time. Although, it is advised to notify him a day before the tutor session. If you're here to enjoy math without stress, have Dr. Fei teach you. Ever since I've had Dr. Fei, I feel more confident towards my math skills, and I plan on having him as my tutor long-term until I graduate high school. Dr. Fei gives you no worries and sets you perfectly for the future & has a bunch of experience with math. He's worked very hard for his PhD.
